Our Principal Partner

The Pioneer Principal of Ameh, Ameh & Co., was Late Otunba Daniel Ademu Ameh until his untimely demise in November 2006. He was the senior and principal partner of the firm with the headquarters in Sagamu.    After the demise of the pioneer principal partner, the Principal Partner became ELDER (DR) S.A. AMEH. He is a product of the University of Jos mwhere he graduated in 1989 with an honours degree in law. Elder (Dr) S.A. Ameh was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1990, after a period at the Nigerian Law School from 1989 – 1990. He has been in active legal practice for the past twenty-nine (29) years.   The Principal Partner was at Akinsanya, Ameh & Co in 34, Surulere Street, Makun – Sagamu, Ogun State for his National Youth Service Corps from 1990 – 1991 after which he was retained as a Junior Partner because of his credulous and worthy contributions to the firm during his service year from 1991 – 1992.   In 1993, the Principal Partner in a bid to expand the firm moved to Ota to establish Ameh, Ameh & Co as a branch with the head office in Sagamu then. With this development he was in charge of the branch at Ota, Ogun State.   His schedule of duties covered a wide area of law practices like preparation and franking of court processes, perfection of title deeds, litigation ranging from property, contracts, commercial, ,civil criminal proceedings, negotiating for the acquisition of properties etc from 1993 – till date.   Over the years, Elder (Dr) S.A. Ameh has amassed a wide range of expertise spanning a broad spectrum of the legal profession and practice and is therefore well equipped and appropriately positioned to meet the legal needs of his teeming clients. His wide range of advocacy has taken Elder (Dr) S.A. Ameh to various levels of courts from the Magistracy, High Court to the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.   Elder (Dr) S.A. Ameh is an active member of the Nigerian Bar Association where he has held many offices. He is at present a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ota Branch and a one-time Chairman of the Branch.   He has numerous awards in recognition of his proficient, excellent and exemplary contributions to the legal practice and humanity including the NBA Award of Excellence in 2018.   He is an Elder of the United Evangelical Church, Sango-Ota Branch, Ogun State and the National Legal Adviser of the United Evangelical Church (founded as Qua Iboe Church with its headquarters in Uyo, Nigeria.   He is happily married with children.
