Harrison Otokhile Edore – Counsel

Harrison Otokhile Edore

My name is Harrison Otokhile Edore. I am from Owan-West local Government of Edo State.    After finishing my Primary School in Army Children School (IV) Alamala Barracks in Abeokuta, Ogun State having attended various Army Children Primary Schools as a result of the posting of my Father from one State of the Federation to another being a Soldier of the Nigerian Army, I proceeded to Army Day Secondary School, Alamala Barracks, Abeokuta Ogun State I finally got admitted in the prestigious faculty of law, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in Edo State where I passed through fire and brim stones to become an Academic giant.  I faced my most challenging course which is Corporate Law and I proceeded to the Nigerian law school, Lagos Campus, where I studied hard.   I was called to the Nigerian Bar on the 14th of July, 2016. I did my National Youth Service Corp at the Ministry of Justice Kwara StateMy voracious nature and passion for reading made the legal profession a fascinating one for me. After finishing my National Youth Service Corp from the Ministry of Justice Kwara State in 2016, I was given an Award as the most pragmatic litigator in the Ministry. This propelled me to look for a busy law firm to practice the rudimentary arcana of the legal profession. I travelled, and I practiced with S.A Popoola & Co as a Junior Counsel but I wasn't satisfied with the practice of the Law since it is a less busy office   I resigned and proceeded to Ibadan where I practiced in Dabirin Law Firm with M. A Kolapo. A very sound Lawyer with a great knowledge in Law of Evidence. He made me understand that Law of Evidence is the hallmark of Litigation. Though, we were not compatible in our thoughts and ideas about life because of our different religious ideas I wanted to build myself and thus I am very ready to pass through the misty waters of Litigation. I proceeded back to Ota, Ogun State where I met a good friend of mine who having seen my passion for Litigation, introduced me to the ever busy *Ameh, Ameh & Co* Law Firm where he works. I joined the Law Firm of Ameh, Ameh & Co on the 15th of September, 2018 after various consultations on the busy nature of the office which I finally saw and experienced just as I wanted.   I thank the Almighty God that I have been so equipped herein. I have drafted tough challenging processes and attended to so many Criminal and Civil Matters ranging from Petition for dissolution of marriages, Land and Labour Matters, Settlements, cum Alternative Dispute Resolution, etc.
