Mutharda Solagbade Atinumo
The simple, original, vivacious and cool headed Barrister Murtadha Solagbade Atinumo was born some decades ago at Ikoyi, Osun State to Late Alhaji Rohoof Ajad Atinumoa a reknown Islamic Scholar, Mufti Imam of Ikoyi Land and Madam Hamdallah Ayinke Atinumo (both deceased).
Murtadha Solagbade Atinumo had his primary education at Ansar-Ud-Deen primary school, Ikoyi-Osun in 1969 where he obtained Primary school leaving certificate in 1974. He proceeded to Ayedaade District Council (ADC) Secondary Modern School, Apomu in 1975-1977. He thereafter proceeded to St. Anthony's College, Ikoyi-Osun, Osun State and spent four years between 1978 to 1982 where he obtained West African Examination Council (WAEC). While at St. Anthony's College, he was the presicdent of Literary and Debating Society of the school, he won many prizes for the school in the inter-schools quiz/debate competitions. He was the Chairman of the school's magazine editorial board, house captain and best student in geography. His post secondary education was at the Polytechnic Ibadan (Esa-Oke Campus) in the Faculty of Commerce and Communication Sciences where he read Marketing between 1983 to 1985 and obtained National Diploma in Marketing. He attended Kogi State University (KSU) Anyigba, Kogi State and obtained his LL.B (Hons) in 2011. He attended Nigerian Law School, Lagos Campus, Victoria Island and was called to the Nigerian Bar with SCN 110061.
He is currently a counsel in the chambers of Ameh, Ameh & Co (a law firm) joined in 2017.
He worked in the Audit Department of Obasanjo Farms Nigeria Ltd, Ota as Audit Assistant in 1989 and rose to the post of Audit Supervisor at Obasanjo Farms, Ota and Tempo Food Packaging between 1989 to 1993.
He was a student of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) Accounting Technician Scheme.
He was a teacher and manager to companies. He was a law researcher with Gbola Adeosun and Co, a frontline law firm in Ota between 2011 - 2013.
He is a member of Nigerian Bar Association, Ota Branch, Ogun State.
Barrister M.S. Atinumo as he is fondly called is a voracious reader, a perfect paradigm of originality and he abhors travesty or parody. He is an almagam of candour, humility, vibrancy and Allah's servant.
